Education

KAP has five partner schools:

• Rangenya primary
• Ndhiwa primary
• Sibouche primary
• Pale primary
• Mbani Primary

Traditionally KAP's activities in education were focused on supporting building projects. But recently some initiatives were developed to improve the performance of the five schools. This includes monitoring performance, ranking the schools and giving out prizes for the best performers. Also, some of the KAP staff members have been trained in making guttering and water catchment systems for schools. They are doing this work on an ad hoc basis.

Some schools in the UK have partnerships with schools in Ndhiwa. This basically means sharing thoughts and ideas and occasionally getting involved in small projects like fair trade and water catchment systems. Another possibility is the enterprise program.
